Gio Spano

Welcome to Extra Magic Trips! I’m Gio Spano, your dedicated Vacation Planner specializing in Disney, Universal, Cruises, and more. I am dedicated to helping you create a vacation filled with magic, adventure and exploration.

With decades of experience in both travel and entertainment—including performing, managing, and creating shows for Walt Disney World® Resort and Disney Cruise Line—I bring insider knowledge and genuine passion to every guest I help plan a vacation for.

My Disney journey began around 1977 with a magical visit to Magic Kingdom® Park, which sparked a lifelong passion. That love led to a career both onstage and behind the scenes with Disney Entertainment. Today, my husband and I continue to visit Disney destinations year-round—from Disneyland® Resort and Aulani in Hawaii to Disney Cruise Line and our favorite, the Walt Disney World® Resort. We especially enjoy seasonal events like Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and Jollywood Nights. My goal is to use all that insider experience to help you create a truly magical vacation.

I also specialize in Universal Orlando Resort vacations, including their spectacular seasonal celebrations like Halloween Horror Nights and Mardi Gras. Whether you’re planning a multigenerational trip, a romantic escape, a group adventure, or traveling solo, I tailor every detail to your unique needs. I pride myself on helping you take the stress out of vacation planning.

Beyond theme parks, I curate unforgettable cruise vacations and international escapes, including Adventures by Disney, National Geographic Expeditions, and Costa Rica getaways, which has been my second home for over a decade. Having met my husband on a chartered LGBT+ Cruise, I am also uniquely qualified to book land & sea vacations designed especially for LGBT+ travelers.

As a graduate of the College of Disney Knowledge, a certified Universal Orlando Specialist, and well versed in Cruise vacations of all kinds, I stay up to date on the best deals, tech tools, and insider tips to make your vacation seamless and magical. From pre-planning to travel-day support, I’m just a phone call away.
