Enjoy Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party at the Walt Disney World® Resort
Visiting the Walt Disney World® Resort during the holidays is magical. Seeing the parks decorated for Halloween and Christmas really adds that touch of extra magic to an already exciting trip. But what if I told you that there was even more to see and do? A special event that includes special parades, exclusive fireworks, one-of-a-kind character meet and greets, limited edition merchandise, shorter attraction lines, and even free treats. Could it be true? YES!
During the fall and winter holiday seasons, Magic Kingdom® Park comes to life with two exclusive events, Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, and Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. These separately-ticketed events take place beginning at 7 pm, after the park closes to daytime visitors. During the party time, only guests who purchased a ticket to the party are admitted in the park, giving you an opportunity to explore and enjoy with fewer crowds!

Starting in early November, Magic Kingdom® Park comes alive with the sights, sounds, and smells of Christmas! Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party takes place on select nights and adds a special holiday touch to the already enchanting holiday decor of the Walt Disney World® Resort.
During this special party, you can enjoy free cookies and cocoa scattered around the park! What better way to enjoy the season than with a peppermint sugar cookie as it snows (yes, snows!) on Main Street U.S.A.® and you watch Cinderella Castle come alive with special effects and projections? This is something you really won’t want to miss!
This special Christmas party is only open to guests who purchased a separate ticket, and takes place after normal operating hours. As the daytime guests are leaving the park, you are welcomed in with spectacular lighting up and down the Main Street U.S.A® Area. Like at Halloween, you will have the opportunity to meet and greet your favorite hard-to-find Disney characters during the party! You may even get a chance to snap a photo with Jack Skellington as Sandy Claws or Santa Goofy!
There are so many exclusive entertainment opportunities during the party, it may be hard to see it all in one night. You certainly won’t want to miss Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration. This fun show on the stage in front of Cinderella Castle combines several modern and classic Christmas songs into one fun-filled party! It is my personal favorite show, and the songs were stuck in my head all season.
The party’s exciting Mickey’s Once Upon A Christmastime Parade, features all of your favorite characters in their Christmas finest! You’ll see marching toy soldiers, gingerbread men that came to life right off Clarabelle Cow’s baking sheet, and even Santa Claus himself. This parade is a fantastic experience for the entire family to enjoy.
The party’s fireworks show, Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime, includes fireworks that are shot off from all around the castle. At the finale, you will literally be surrounded by fireworks everywhere you look! It is a breathtaking experience that is sure to become a family tradition.
Other entertainment options include the Totally Tomorrowland Christmas Show, a character dance party, a cappella performances, and more! Many of your favorite Magic Kingdom® Park attractions will be open for you to enjoy, as well. And since a limited number of tickets are available each night, you can enjoy your favorites with shorter wait times.
